Overview
Which emergency stretchers do we offer?
Our emergency stretchers are height-adjustable hydraulic stretchers for accident and emergency departments and in-hospital transfers, also available with a motorised fifth wheel or with a negative pressure isolation unit.
Alongside these we supply stretchers designed for diagnostics: the STR MK19 Iris fluoroscopy stretcher, with a frame compatible with the C-arm, and the non-magnetic stretcher for magnetic resonance imaging. Each model can be configured in size and accessories according to the department that will use it.

MOOVIE
MOOVIE – emergency stretcher with motorised 5th wheel
A hydraulic stretcher with 2, 3 or 4 sections, a radiolucent patient platform and lifting on two hydraulic columns. Height, platform and Trendelenburg are adjusted with side pedals, the backrest with a power-assisted gas spring lever. The retractable fifth wheel, operated from the handles at the head end, allows a single operator to push and steer the stretcher even in narrow spaces.

STR MK19 Iris
STR MK19 Iris fluoroscopy stretcher
A stretcher for radiological examinations and diagnostic imaging in hospitals, clinics and specialist centres. The U-shaped frame makes it easier to position the C-arm; height is adjusted by pedal and the Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg functions reach +12°/-12°.

Biocontainment
Emergency stretchers with a biocontainment system
For patients with airborne contagious diseases we offer two emergency stretchers with a medical PVC isolation unit, integrated gloves and three-stage filtration.
STR MK 5
STR MK 5 – motorised stretcher with biocontainment
It combines the isolation chamber with a motorised retractable fifth wheel, with two maximum speeds (2 km/h and 6 km/h) and up to 50% less effort when starting and steering. Electric adjustments with LINAK motors and U15 HEPA-ULPA filters.
STR MK 4
STR MK 4 – emergency stretcher with biocontainment
A two-section, height-adjustable stretcher on two hydraulic columns, with an isolation unit that opens on both sides and H14 grade HEPA filters. The blower has a backup battery for independent operation.

Magnetic resonance imaging
Do you need a stretcher for the MRI room?
Emergency stretchers with ferromagnetic components cannot be taken into the MRI room: you need a model built to be compatible with the magnetic field.
Our non-magnetic stretcher, in models HO-708, HO-708A and HO-709, is made of grade 304 stainless steel or aluminium alloy, with an adjustable backrest, folding side rails and a removable IV pole. You will find it, together with the non-magnetic wheelchair, in our MRI-compatible equipment range.

Questions about emergency stretchers
What is the motorised fifth wheel for?
It allows a single operator to push and steer the stretcher with little effort, even in tight spaces. It is fitted on MOOVIE and on the STR MK 5, which has two speeds selectable from the handles.
Can the MOOVIE stretcher be customised?
Yes. MOOVIE can be configured in size and accessories (bag hooks, IV pole, cylinder basket, chart holder, paper roll holder) and is available in paediatric, electric and bariatric versions.
Which emergency stretchers are suitable for radiological examinations?
MOOVIE has a radiolucent patient platform and is prepared for an X-ray cassette holder; for fluoroscopy with a C-arm, the STR MK19 Iris with its U-shaped frame is the appropriate choice.
Do you deliver outside Sicily?
Yes. From our base in Villafranca Tirrena (Messina) we deliver emergency stretchers throughout Italy; Italian public bodies can also order through MePA, SINTEL, EMPULIA and ETOSCANA, the public e-procurement platforms.
