INFORMATION NOTICE
In compliance with the obligations arising from national legislation (Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003, Personal Data Protection Code) and EU legislation (European Regulation on the protection of personal data No. 679/2016, GDPR), as subsequently amended, this site respects and protects the confidentiality of visitors and users, making every possible and proportionate effort not to infringe users’ rights.
This cookies policy applies exclusively to the online activities of this site and is valid for visitors/users of the site. It does not apply to information collected through channels other than this website. The purpose of the privacy notice is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information the site collects and how it uses it. This notice takes into account the “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” of 10 June 2021 issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Legal basis for processing
Data collected through log files and technical cookies, which are necessary for the functioning and security of the site, are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR); no user consent is required for technical cookies (Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).
Non-technical cookies and other tracking tools (for example third-party statistics cookies) are set only with the user’s prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), given through the banner displayed on the first visit. Simply browsing or consulting the site, scrolling the page or closing the banner does not amount to consent.
Consent is optional: the User may refuse it and may withdraw or change consent already given at any time through the cookie preferences panel. Refusing non-technical cookies does not prevent the use of the site.
Data collected and purposes
Like all websites, this site also makes use of log files, in which information collected automatically during users’ visits is stored. The information collected may be the following:
– internet protocol (IP) address;
– browser type and parameters of the device used to connect to the site;
– name of the internet service provider (ISP);
– date and time of visit;
– the visitor’s web page of origin (referral) and exit page;
– where applicable, the number of clicks.
The above information is processed automatically and collected exclusively in aggregate form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site, and for security reasons (such information is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the controller).
For security purposes (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection), the automatically recorded data may also include personal data such as the IP address, which may be used, in accordance with the applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the site itself or to cause harm to other users, or in any case harmful or criminal activities. Such data are never used to identify or profile the user, but only to protect the site and its users (such information is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the controller).
Where the site allows comments to be posted, or in the case of specific services requested by the user, the site automatically detects and records certain identification data of the user, including the email address. Such data are deemed to be voluntarily provided by the user at the time of requesting the service. By posting a comment or other information, having read the privacy notice, the user consents to the content posted being freely disclosed, including to third parties.
The data received will be used exclusively for the provision of the service requested and only for the time necessary to provide the service.
Information that users of the site choose to make public through the services and tools made available to them is provided by the user knowingly and voluntarily, releasing this site from any liability in respect of any breaches of the law. It is the user’s responsibility to verify that he or she has permission to enter personal data of third parties or content protected by national and international rules.
The data collected by the site during its operation are used exclusively for the purposes indicated above and retained for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. In any case, the data collected by the site will never be provided to third parties, for any reason, unless there is a legitimate request from the judicial authorities and only in the cases provided for by law.
Data used for security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) are retained for 7 days.
Place of processing
The data collected by the site are processed at the premises of the Data Controller and at the web hosting provider’s data centre. The web hosting provider (3WEB DI BONARRIGO PIETRO, VIA JOE PASS 22, 98040 GUALTIERI SICAMINO (ME) IT) processes the data on behalf of the controller as data processor pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, is located in the European Economic Area and acts in compliance with European rules.
Cookies
As is customary on all websites, this site also uses cookies, small text files that allow information about visitors’ preferences to be stored, in order to improve the functionality of the site, to simplify browsing by automating procedures (e.g. Login, site language) and, subject to consent, to analyse the use of the site.
Session cookies are essential in order to distinguish between connected users, and are useful to prevent a requested function from being provided to the wrong user, as well as for security purposes to prevent cyber attacks on the site. Session cookies do not contain personal data and last only for the current session, i.e. until the browser is closed. No consent is required for them.
The functionality cookies used by the site are strictly necessary for the use of the site; in particular, they are linked to an express request for functionality by the user (such as Login), for which no consent is required.
Banner and consent management
On the first visit, the site displays a banner that allows you to accept or refuse non-technical cookies and to choose the individual categories you wish to authorise. Until the user gives consent, only technical cookies are used. Your choices can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the cookie banner/preferences panel, which can be reopened from the site.
Disabling cookies
In addition to the preferences panel, cookies CAN BE DISABLED OR DELETED DIRECTLY FROM THE BROWSER used. Please bear in mind that disabling technical cookies may prevent the correct use of certain functions of the site itself.
Instructions for managing and disabling cookies in the main browsers can be found on the following web pages:
Google Chrome – Mozilla Firefox – Apple Safari – Microsoft Edge
Third-party cookies
This site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies, used to provide additional services and functionality to visitors and to improve the use of the site itself, such as social media buttons or videos. This site has no control over third-party cookies, which are managed entirely by the third parties. Consequently, information on the use of such cookies and their purposes, as well as on how to disable them, is provided directly by the third parties on the pages indicated below.
In particular, this site uses cookies from the following third parties:
– Google Analytics 4: a statistical analysis tool from Google which, only with the user’s prior consent, through the use of cookies (statistics or performance cookies), collects browsing data for the purpose of examining users’ use of the site, compiling reports on activity on the site and providing other information, including the number of visitors and the pages visited. According to Google, in Google Analytics 4 IP addresses are not logged or stored; for users in the European Union the IP address is used solely to derive approximate geolocation data (for example country or city) and is then immediately discarded. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The data may also be processed on Google servers located in the United States; such transfers take place in compliance with Chapter V of the GDPR (for example on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Google LLC participates).
Under a specific agreement with Google, which is designated as data processor, Google undertakes to process the data in accordance with the instructions of the Controller (see the end of this notice), given through the software settings. Under these settings, the advertising and data-sharing options are disabled.
Further information on Google Analytics cookies can be found on the Google Analytics cookie usage on websites page.
In addition to refusing or withdrawing consent through the preferences panel, the user may selectively disable the collection of data by Google Analytics by installing on his or her browser the dedicated component provided by Google (opt-out).
– YouTube: a video-sharing platform owned by Google, which uses cookies to collect information about users and browsing devices. The videos on the site do not set cookies when the page is accessed, as the “privacy-enhanced mode (no cookies)” option has been enabled, under which YouTube does not store information about visitors unless they voluntarily play the video.
cookie: test_cookie .doubleclick.net is not a persistent cookie, but is used to check whether the user’s browser supports cookies.
For further information on the use of data and its processing by Google, we recommend that you read the information on the dedicated page prepared by Google (Google Privacy Policy), and the page on How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

This site also incorporates plugins and/or buttons for social networks, in order to allow content to be shared easily on your favourite social networks. These plugins are programmed so as not to set any cookies when the page is accessed, in order to safeguard users’ privacy. Cookies may be set, if so provided by the social networks, only when the user actually and voluntarily uses the plugin.
The collection and use of information obtained by means of the plugin are governed by the respective privacy notices of the social networks, to which please refer.

This site processes users’ data lawfully and fairly, adopting appropriate security measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or unauthorised destruction of data. Processing is carried out using computerised and/or telematic tools, with organisational methods and logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the controller, in some cases, categories of persons in charge involved in the organisation of the site (administrative, sales, marketing and legal staff, system administrators) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) may have access to the data.
User’s rights
Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and national legislation, the User may, in the manner and within the limits provided for by the legislation in force, exercise the following rights:

– to obtain the erasure of the data (Article 17) or the restriction of processing (Article 18), in the cases provided for;

– to object to processing based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 21);
– to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (Article 7(3));
– to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority – Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Article 77 – www.garanteprivacy.it).
Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller, using the contact details given in the Privacy Policy.
